The Domestic Violence Intervention Center's new Changing Lives Wellness Center is pleased to announce a collaborative partnership with two-time Grammy Award Winner, Mary Youngblood for a benefit concert honoring our women veterans. The live performance featuring Mary Youngblood takes place at the Crest Theatre on Friday, October 19, 2012 and offers hope for healing, for peace of mind, and for a way home to hearts and spirits.

News The Domestic Violence Intervention Center located in Citrus Heights invites you our free self-defense workshops for girls and women.


Smart & Strong is for Girls - 13-17, Young women 18-25, and Adult women 25 yo, and up. Each workshop is designed to teach you about Self-Defense, Self-Awareness, and Self-esteem.

Each half-day workshop will help you tap into your inner strength, and each
person will leave the the workshop more informed on how to protect yourself, and how to use your senses to be more aware of your surroundings.
